Founded in 1898, Northeastern is a global research university and the recognized leader in experience-powered lifelong learning. Our world-renowned experiential approach empowers our students, faculty, alumni, and partners to create impact far beyond the confines of discipline, degree, and campus.

Our locations—in Boston; the Massachusetts communities of Burlington and Nahant; Charlotte, North Carolina; London; the San Francisco Bay Area; Seattle; Toronto; and Vancouver—are nodes in our growing global university system. Through this network, we expand opportunities for student-centered, industry-aligned learning and collaborative, solutions-focused research.

Northeastern’s downtown Toronto campus currently offers six online and on-ground master’s degree programs that are in high demand among local employers—Project Management; Regulatory Affairs; Analytics; Informatics; Information Systems and Biotechnology. Tailored to Toronto’s needs as a world economic center, these degree programs offer working professionals a clear path to advancing their careers while staying with their current organizations.  We offer the flexibility of online education combined with the outstanding faculty, academic resources, and program support of a leading U.S. research institution.

About the Breakfasts

LSO’s Knowledge and Networking Breakfast Forum facilitates valuable professional development and networking opportunities. Issues impacting our industry are discussed and best practices are presented, providing an opportunity for community members to learn from each other. Events are held regularly (monthly or bi-monthly), and are subsidized by a modest registration fee. Breakfast is provided. LSO’s Breakfast Meetings are a long-standing tradition, with the first event being held in September 1989, when LSO was known as TBI (Toronto Biotechnology Initiative). Since then, our “Breakfast Meetings” have become a signature event for the organization and continue to be an important offering to LSO members and our broader life sciences community.
